Don’t let anyone tell you that characters don’t extend past their games. Red Dead Redemption 2‘s voice actors had a hilarious in-character back and forth on the convention floor of COMFEST in Kuwait. So if you are looking to get a fix of Micah Bell and John Marston to round out your weekend, you are in luck.

The video (published earlier this week) had a quick interview between PlayStation Middle East and John Marston’s voice actor, Rob Wiethoff. In the middle of him explaining that this is his first real convention, Micah Bell’s voice actor–Peter Blomquist–aimless wanders into the background of the shot.

Wiethoff promptly notices the intrusion, turns to the mustachioed Blomquist, puts on his best Marston voice and yells “Get outta’ here!” Blomquist shuffles off, giving a side eye to the camera as everyone laughs.

But no video written out every does it justice. In fact, just check out the capture of the video’s section below:

It’s heartwarming to see voice actors have fun with their characters, and it shows even outside of the game. Heck, it even showed in the game with Red Dead Redemption 2 being one of our very few perfect 10’s of 2018.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 is out of the current meta of game conversation, it doesn’t mean it is forgotten. Last week we highlighted the community’s continued demand for capture tools, which is a recurring request so people can continue making awesome user-generated content. Outside of that, we are still seeing some amazing art from the game’s scenic Wild West environments and highlights on some impressive depth and in-game nods.

Additionally, Red Dead Online — the game’s PvP mode — is still getting strong with continued updates. Last week we saw Gun Rush lobbies upgraded and the gifting of gold bars. And that success will hopefully detract from the pending lawsuit from the Pinkertons which somehow still exist outside of the history books.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One; if you haven’t purchased the game so far, you can still grab the game on Amazon. Otherwise, you can watch the full interview between PlayStation and Blomquist and Wiethoff below:
