Coming up on its first anniversary, Borderlands 3 has kept players coming back to the loot shooter with a variety of new campaign expansions that made things bigger, badder, and weirder. With its Season Pass introducing new storylines and themes, the upcoming new campaign DLC for Borderlands 3 will maybe take things even further when it releases next month by taking us into the mind of Psycho Krieg.

Developer Gearbox Software has revealed the fourth and final campaign DLC for Borderlands 3, which is called Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, will be arriving on September 10, 2020. Alongside the announcement, Gearbox released its official trailer for the campaign, giving a closer look at what to expect from the latest campaign. Specifically, this time around it seems like players will be delving deep into the mind of a Psycho on a quest to find the mythical “Vaulthalla.” It’s safe to say that things get very weird, very quickly.

Following the reveal of the fourth campaign DLC for the game, Gearbox also announced that a new level cap increase will be arriving alongside the DLC as a free update for all players. The increase will raise the level cap to 65, bringing players up an additional five levels for both gear and player characters. Gearbox clarified that this will be the last planned level cap increase “for the foreseeable future,” according to a blog post detailing the announcements.

For now, it seems like Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck will be the last planned DLC campaign for the game, though it’s not clear yet whether Gearbox may do an additional Season Pass with new expansions or other content down the line. At the moment, we can probably at least expect more in-game events to take place, such as the Anniversary Celebration happening right now across all platforms.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. For a closer look at the next campaign DLC, you can check out the new screenshots below:
