Square Enix released a large batch of new screenshots of the upcoming The World Ends With You remaster for Nintendo Switch aptly titled The World Ends With You: Final Remix.

Besides showing the classic mechanics of the game which fans know quite well, we get to see some of the over 300 pin badges that Neku can use in the game. The interesting thing is that there are new ones. Cruel Love Fortune Telling lets you summon swords that attack all around Neku. Crystal Hermit Feather lets Neku bounce all around the screen damaging everything he physically runs into. Hanayome Date sends a huge enemy sphere in the direction towards which you tap the screen.

We learn that the game includes 92 songs, including new ones. Those are both rearrangements and original songs. You can change them around at any time during gameplay.

Lastly, we get a look at quite a few relevant characters, that you can enjoy in the gallery below. You can also check out an earlier gallery and a recent trailer.

The game will release in Japan on September 27th, but we still don’t have a specific launch date for the west.

The western release can already be pre-ordered on Amazon, even if a launch date for North America and Europe has not been announced just yet.
