Can you believe that it’s almost been a year since The Last of Us Part 2 released? It seems like only yesterday that TLOU fans were having to contend with delays for one of Naughty Dog’s most anticipated titles and the sense of relief when it finally launched on June 19, 2020.

Even though the worldwide pandemic held a lot of games within its murky shadows, The Last of Us 2 was an incredible hit for PlayStation regardless and became one of the highest-grossing PS4 titles of the year.

As we approach TLOU2‘s one year anniversary in a few weeks, we take the time to appreciate some incredible fan art and this time, it comes from none other than a former senior artist at Rockstar Games.

Mark Scicluna, who has contributed as an illustrator to games like Bully, L.A Noire, GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption 2, takes on The Last of Us Part 2 in a fantastic comic cover endeavour.

Mark states that while he was playing TLOU2 for the second time, he was inspired to create a retro-styled comic book of the title in tribute.

I personally adore it due to being a massive fan of the game and a lover of comic books. I feel that I’m not alone in saying that many fans would easily pay crazy money to get their hands on these – am I right?

Mark also has crafted a Resident Evil Village comic cover that showcases Lady D and her daughters which would look incredible upon the shelves of RE fans.

You can check out all of Mark’s work over on his Artstation or if Instagram is more your thing, you can visit his page right here.
