The Division 2’s Latest Story Trailer Has Arrived

News, Originals, PC, PS4, The Division 2, Ubisoft, Xbox One

Ubisoft’s The Division 2 is gearing up to be one of the biggest titles in this first portion of the year and today, the publisher released a new trailer for the game giving more details on the game’s narrative.

This new trailer, which is a little over two minutes in length, gives us a better idea of the main conflict within The Division 2. Simultaneously, we get some new looks at the game’s setting, which is that of Washington D.C. — though it now sits in shambles. It’s honestly a better showing than I expected before viewing the trailer for myself.

That said, I still have doubts about whether or not Ubisoft can make a shared-world shooter like this compelling on the narrative front. This is an issue I had with the first The Division and something I also griped about with both Destiny games. BioWare’s Anthem has yet to win me over in the realm, as well.

Still, I do think The Division 2 looks incredibly fun and I’m still left thinking about my time with it last year during E3. If you liked the first game, I have a feeling that this one might turn out to be right up your alley as well.

You can find the latest trailer for The Division 2 attached below. The game is set to release later this spring on March 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (exclusively through the Epic Games Store and Uplay).
