If you’re a fan of the Yakuza series then you may have some news coming at the end of the year. Today, the mega-publisher Sega began teasing that an announcement of some kind will be coming during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, a livestream featuring a ton of announcements from across the games industry.

The news comes the way of Twitter, where Kinda Funny’s co-founder, Greg Miller, asked Sega if they would be willing to announce something at the show in a couple weeks. Surprisingly enough, the company responded only a couple minutes later, stating that Miller “convinced them” to join the show. That being said, of course, we have no idea what the announcement will entail, but you can check out the full Twitter exchange below.

Over the past month or so, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase has turned from a small stream in lieu of a PlayStation Experience this year, to a full-blown event featuring over 50 different titles.

As of the time of this writing, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase is set to air on the company’s Twitch channel on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET).
