PlayStation shared a trailer announcing that Super Life of Pixel will launch next month. Whitemoon Dreams is publishing the puzzle platformer, and the game’s associate producer Matt Spencer shared his thoughts on the game in a PlayStation blog post.
Developed by Super Icon, the game was originally called Life of Pixel and was released for mobile. Now, Super Life of Pixel will be making its way onto PS4 and PS Vita.
The game follows Pixel who journeys his way through gaming history by teleporting across video game systems of the past. Spencer calls it a “living, playable museum” as every system that is unlocked will reveal the chance to learn about the consoles they are inspired by along with the hardware and software specs of the era.
The game comes with old-school mechanics, as patience and strategy will be the key to victory, and speed and greed will kill. Spencer sums up the game by saying, “Move, think, jump or die.”
Super Life of Pixel will be available on August 22nd for PS4 and PS Vita. You can check out the game’s trailer below.
