Should You Sell Weapons?
The short answer to this question is YES; you should sell a weapon in RE8 if it’s no longer useful.
Similar to previous Resident Evil games, RE8 offers players a wide variety of weapons. However, while some weapons may seem useful at first, they might not work that well as you move ahead in the game.
Unfortunately, these weapons can take up to 12 slots in your inventory, which is a lot. It further means that you are left with very little space to store other essentials consumables, including food and ammo.
Moreover, some RE8 weapons can’t be upgraded, which makes them pretty much useless very quickly. But the sad part is that you can’t drop weapons in the game. It further means that the only way of getting rid of weapons in the game is by selling them. So, of course, you must sell useless weapons in RE8 to use that storage space for better weapons.
How to sell weapons in RE8?
In RE8, you can sell unwanted items, including weapons, by visiting the Duke Emporium. You have to select the “Duke’s purse” option to sell such items for the in-game currency, Lei.
You can use the same currency to buy other items such as ammo, healing items, etc. Besides that, you also can upgrade weapons by visiting the Duke.
