Considering the world’s disastrous situation because of coronavirus, people need to be happier than ever right now, and PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale is a limited-time event with a mission to bring a fun and crazy experience to its players just in time for April Fools’ Day.

As a gift from the PUBG developers on April Fools’ Day, PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale is supposed to bring you a lot of fun with new gameplay elements, new playable characters, and lots of unusual costumes and weapons to work with in the game. Starting from today, you can pick your character out of four available classes in the mode including Wizard, Barbarian, Ranger, and Paladin. Each class holds a different arsenal of weapons and combat skills. Although the rules are still the same, there will be no guns in Fantasy Battle Royle. The new mode has put the emphasis on melee combat, though depending on your class, you might be able to use some mid-range weapons as well.

According to the developers, PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale features a crafting system, allowing you to upgrade and improve the items you own. During your survival in the area, you will be able to find different components and make something useful out of them. Hopefully the system could end up in the main Battle Royale mode in PUBG if the player base is happy with that.

Running through April 7th, you will be able to earn all the rewards in PUBG Fantasy Battle Royal without buying anything extra, though inpatient players can still get them by spending real-world money. Below you can check out the announcement trailer for PUBG Fantasy Battle Royale, along with some more in-depth screenshots of the available classes:
