As is tradition for Overwatch fans, a new season means that new seasonal events are on the horizon, and with the holidays in full swing, it’s time to get merry with all of your favorite characters next week.
Blizzard has announced that the Winter Wonderland event will be returning for Overwatch players starting on December 11, 2018 in time for the holiday season.
As with the event’s past iterations (along with other seasonal events for the game), we can expect there to be plenty of new holiday-themed skins for many of the roster of heroes (along with possibly some returning skins from the previous events). There will also likely be some sort of special limited time mode or feature tied to the event, but with the event starting in less than a week, we likely won’t have to wait too much longer to find out exactly what it will be.
Overwatch is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have yet to pick up a copy of the game, you can do that right now over on Amazon before the festivities begin.
