Recently, Blizzard has revealed some of the upcoming maps for Overwatch 2, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

Overwatch 2 is one of the most popular upcoming multiplayer games. The sequel was first announced in 2019, and it is currently in development.

Ever since the announcement, the Overwatch community is eager to learn anything about the game. By now, you must already know that Overwatch 2 will feature a five-player team formula instead of six players for PVP.

Besides that, developers have revealed some amazing maps for Overwatch 2 in the recent live stream.

Overwatch 2 Confirmed Maps

Recently, Blizzard devs hosted a live stream where they talked about the Overwatch 2 PVP maps, characters, and more.

Currently, we don’t know much about the characters, but here are all the maps confirmed for Overwatch 2:

1. New York

Points of Interest:

  • Grand Central Terminal
  • Engine 11
  • Jephs Corner Pizza

2. Toronto

Points of Interest:

  • Hotel Montebianco
  • Tim Fordsons
  • Maple Leaf Trees

3. Rio

Points of Interest:

  • Club Sinestesia
  • Peacock Payload
  • Oh! Lucio-Oh’s!

4. Rome

Points of Interest:

  • Colosseum
  • Beautiful fountains
  • Zephyrus Vs. Maximus

5. Monte Carlo

Points of Interest:

  • AutoPilot Cars
  • Sparkles
  • Flying Yachts

Gothenburg and Bangkok/India are also confirmed to be a part of Overwatch 2. However, developers didn’t reveal any teaser for these two maps on Twitter or in the live stream.

Other than what we’ve mentioned, Overwatch 2 will surely feature more amazing maps. There are chances that maps from the original Overwatch game will also be part of the sequel’s playlist. However, we can’t be sure about that until we hear something official from the developers.

In the Livestream, developers announced some other features for the game as well. For instance, they teased new game modes and some improved abilities of some heroes. Anyway, you can watch the full live stream here to learn more about it.
