Yesterday, Cyan, Inc. CEO Rand Miller released some new information about the PlayStation VR version of Obduction.

According to Miller, PlayStation VR owners will have the opportunity to experience the title starting Tuesday, May 8. Of course, those who have been following the game (or are fans of Cyan) will know that the game is already available n the PlayStation 4, however, this particular port as the title implies when the game launched back last year for Sony’s console, PSVR support was unavailable. Of course, the reason why VR support was not released concurrently was due to the development team wanting extra time to refine the experience for those wish to play the game on Sony’s head-mounted display.

For those of you who do not know, Obduction an adventure game with science fiction elements. In Obduction, players have the opportunity explore exotic and newfangled alien planets, and will be tasked with solving numerous puzzles and challenges they encounter as they try to find their way back to their homeworld. One of the most interesting features in Obduction is how the player’s choices will significantly impact the in-game world, so be conscientious of your decisions.

As mentioned earlier in the article, Obduction will be available for PlayStation VR on 8 May. Of course, if you already own the PlayStation 4 version, then you will receive PSVR support for free via an update.
