Today CharaAni Games hosted an event in Tokyo, presenting some interesting news about the upcoming Langrisser I & II pair of remakes announced a few days ago.

The gist of the event was mentioned on Twitter, alongside some lovely images.

First of all, we get a release date. The remasters are going to be released in Japan on February 7th, 2019, while pre-orders are going to open on September 6th.

Multiple endings will be added to the first game, alongside branching routes, one of which will include a new heroine named Betty and created by original Landgrisser character designer Satoshi Urushihara. You can see her in the gallery below.

Urushihara-sensei himself created the cover for the limited edition and a “Classic Mode” DLC  will feature his art and the original music from the old games. That being said, the DLC will be offered for free with the initial print copies of both the regular and limited editions. The download version will include it as well for a limited time.

Langrisser I & II is set to release for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and a western release has not yet been announced.
