Devolver Digital’s Katana Zero has only been available for one week, but it’s already doing quite well for itself.

As announced by the game’s developer Askiisoft this afternoon, Katana Zero has already sold over 100,000 copies across both PC and Switch in a single week. “Thank you so much for playing and sharing Katana Zero – we’re excited that we’ve sold over 100,000 copies in the first week!” said the developer on Twitter. Devolver Digital also chimed in and said that the game is now the second fastest-selling Switch title that it has published coming in only behind that of Enter the Gungeon.

In addition to announcing the sales of the game so far, Askiisoft also revealed future plans for the title. Katana Zero is slated to get a piece of free DLC in the future in addition to a new speedrun mode. Further details on what the DLC will entail have yet to be revealed. We also don’t know when either of these additions will be arriving, but Askiisoft says it is working on them right now.

In case you didn’t see our review of Katana Zero last week, we quite enjoyed the title, awarding it a 9/10 score. I’ve been dabbling in it myself and I have to say that it’s a ton of fun. For only $14.99, it’s a worthy addition to your Switch or PC library.
