Originally released early last year, Bandai Namco’s Jump Force brought together iconic anime characters from Dragon BallOne PieceBleachNaruto, and more in an action-packed fighting arena. Though the game has been available for some time on consoles and PC, Nintendo Switch owners will finally get their chance to duke it out with their favorite characters later this year.

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Jump Force: Deluxe Edition will be heading to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020. While no official release window or date was provided yet, the official trailer gives a look at what to expect from the upcoming Switch version of the game with gameplay and cinematic footage.

The Deluxe Edition will seemingly include the original game’s roster of playable characters and all of the DLC fighters from the game’s Character Pass 1, such as new characters from My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter. The Switch version will also provide support for local, offline multiplayer matches on one Switch console, including 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches, with each player using one Joy-Con controller to join the fight.

Pricing and release details have yet to be revealed for Jump Force: Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch just yet, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer to hear about its launch. While the original game received mixed reviews when it first released, the Switch version might make a suitable home for players looking for an anime-fueled fighting game fix. Given that the system already has great fighting games on it like Super Smash Bros. UltimateDragon Ball FighterZMortal Kombat 11, and more, Jump Force can join the ranks of the competitive scene for Switch players.

Jump Force is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with the game’s Nintendo Switch version to arrive sometime later this year.
