Today begins the Indie Arena Booth Online event taking place during Gamescom where almost two hundred indie titles have demos available to play. This includes a variety of anticipated titles both long-awaited and recent titles like Tunic, Havenand Garden Story. Additionally, there are demos for titles already released including Crosscode and Coffee Talk to give players a taste before committing to the full game.

For those that want to explore and discover new indie titles, you can visit the Indie Arena Booth Online site where you can virtually walk around to over two hundred different booths and play new games. The virtual experience will be available from August 27 to August 30 throughout Gamescom weekend. A list of every participating title is also available to view on the site and should have a demo available on Steam.

Tunic is arguably the hottest title available to play during this event with it being announced back in 2017 and being featured during the Xbox E3 press conference in 2018. I played it myself at PAX East earlier this year and while the demo that I played was very much a tutorial level, I was enamored by its charming art design making it one of my most anticipated indie titles.

With no events taking place in person with the COV-19 pandemic alive and well, this is one of the best opportunities this year to check out and support a bunch of new indies. Indie Arena Booth Online has made a trailer showing off a sneak peek at several games you can check out during the event.
