Whilst Genshin Impact 1.3 is coming to an end in about a week, players have already eyed for the next major update, version 1.4, that brings a pool of new content for players to dive right into. Genshin Impact 1.4 update is set around Mondstadt’s Windblume Festival – a counterpart to Liyue’s Lantern Rite Festival. The new update will feature mini-games, a dating sim like hangout events, a new playable character Rosaria and much more.
As a gacha game, Genshin Impact offers a plethora of playable characters with different abilities, backgrounds, and lore. At the current, the game offers around thirty playable characters where except for a few, players can get most of them via character event wish banners. A few of them can be obtained for free as well, by doing quests and events. There are around ten Genshin Impact characters that are next in line to release with future updates.
Previously Leaked Genshin Impact Characters
A few months ago, we got a leak on eight new upcoming Genshin Impact playable characters that were data-mined from Genshin Impact beta version game files. These characters are –
- Hu Tao
- Mimi
- Yunjin
- Yao Yao
- Sayu
- Rosaria
- Kazuha
- Shenhe
Among the above Genshin Impact characters, Hu Tao’s banner, “Moment of Bloom“, is currently underway, and Rosaria – the four-star Cryo Polearm user is set to release in the second half of Genshin Impact 1.4 update, along with Childe’s re-run banner – Farewell of Snezhnaya.
What about Kamisato Ayaka?
Keeping that in mind, we can say that most of the Genshin Impact leaks are on point. Moreover, in addition to the aforementioned playable Genshin Impact characters, we still have Kamisato Ayaka yet to release. She is a playable character that many of the Genshin Impact beta testers have already played. We already know about her abilities, weapon of choice, her position in Inazuma, and much more.
However, miHoYo is still silent about Ayaka’s release date. It is speculated her banner will release alongside Genshin Impact‘s new region Inazuma.
Genshin Impact Recently Leaked Playable Characters
We already have a backlog of Genshin Impact playable characters set to release with version 1.5 and beyond update. And it looks like the character list is never-ending as there are characters like Tohama, Feiyan, and Eula who have joined the list of possible playable characters.

Every New Genshin Impact Characters Expected to Release with Version 1.5 Update and Beyond
- Tohama – A Pyro Polearm user from Inazuma.
- Kamisato Ayaka – A Cryo Sword user from Inazuma.
- Feiyan – A Catalyst user from Inazuma, whose vision is not yet known. (Most probably, Cryo or Anemo)
- Eula – A Cryo Claymore user.
- Mimi – A Hydro Catalyst user from Inazuma.
- Yunjin – A Geo Polearm user from Liyue.
- Yao Yao – A Dendro Catalyst user from Liyue.
- Sayu – An Anemo Claymore user from Inazuma.
- Kazuha – An Anemo Sword user from Inazuma.
- Shenhe – She was leaked as a Cryo Claymore user from Liyue, but a recent leak suggests she was changed to a Polearm or Catalyst user.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG, available on PC, PS4, PS5 via backward compatibility, and Mobile. The game was also announced on Switch but has no release date on Nintendo’s platform yet.
