We have a new sidequest in Genshin Impact called the ‘From Outer Lands.’
So here’s a guide to help you complete this quest and find the two shipwreck locations as well as the sunken cargo.

From Outer Lands Guide
From Outer Lands is a new world quest in Genshin Impact. Once you complete the story mission for Act 2 of the Midsummer event, you will find this sidequest in the Golden Apple Archipelago.
This quest is divided into three parts — finding two halves of the ship wreck and looking for its lost cargo. On completing this quest, you will be rewarded with some Primogems, and a treasure chest.
Now let’s take a look at how to find all three of them in order to complete the From Outer Lands quest.
Find The Shipwreck Locations
Here you need to find the ship that got wrecked in two halves and are now in different locations. It doesn’t matter which half you find first. So start with any of the nearest island.
Location 1:
You can find one half of the wrecked ship on the island between Twinning Isle and Pudding Isle. It is located on the west side of the island at the top of the rock formation on this island.
Now circle around the wrecked ship until you see the ‘Slightly Damaged Wooden Plank’ which will instruct you on how to find the next piece of the quest.
Location 2:
The other half of the broken ship is on the island between Broken Isle and Twinning Isle. Start investing here until you find the ‘Somewhat Rotten Wooden Plank.’
On interacting with the ‘Somewhat Rotten Wooden Plank’, you will be guided towards next part of this quest, that is, searching for the ship’s cargo.
Lost Cargo Ship Location
After finding both the planks, Paimon will ask you to find the sunken cargo from the wrecked ship. A large circular area south of the lower part of Twinning Isle, between the two shipwrecks you found, will be marked on your map.
You will find the contents of the wrecked ship somewhere here. There are three such locations in the area and you need to check out all of them.
For that, you need to board the Waverider and investigate the area. While doing so, you will come across bubbles which upon investigation will reveal a strange floating thing.
It will start attacking you so use the boat to defeat it. Once you destroy this object, it will a drop a Chest which is your reward for completing the quest.
