miHoYo and Swets Paradise fully revealed on July 29 the Genshin Impact collab cafe coming soon to Japan, with exclusive merch featuring a new waiter skin for Albedo, and chibi merch for the other Mondstadt playable characters.

The Collab cafe was first teased on July 9, exclusively on the Japanese live stream reveal of Genshin Impact Version 2.0: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia. The collab café is officially titled “Genshin x Sweets Paradise Soyokaze no Kyouen”, which can be translated to “the Breeze’s Feast”.

Genshin Impact Sweets Paradise collab cafe – Schedule, new chibi skin merch explained

The collab café will be open from September 1 to September 30 in over 12 Sweets Paradise shops across Japan. The shop list is accessible on the official website. Reservations will start on August 3, midnight JST, exclusively through the Sweets Paradise app. You can make a reservation up to five weeks ahead. Anyone actually living in Japan and planning to go to the collab cafe should be able to get all this info by themselves, but I’m including it for explanations’ sake.

The key visual for the collab cafe features Albedo and Klee, with Albedo wearing a special waiter costume. Seeing the costume system was now implemented, it’s possible this waiter costume gets released as a skin in-game for Albedo. Though personally, I don’t see it happening any time soon.

The collab cafe will include menus and merch based on chibi / SD illustrations of all the Mondstadt playable characters. They’re listed on this order on the Sweets Paradise site and key visual:

  • Hotaru (Lumine)
  • Paimon
  • Sora (Aether)
  • Barbara
  • Noelle
  • Rosaria
  • Diluc
  • Kaeya
  • Jean
  • Diona
  • Fischl
  • Mona
  • Lisa
  • Venti
  • Sucrose
  • Albedo
  • Klee
  • Eula
  • Razor
  • Bennett
  • Amber
  • MORE MERCH – Mona is getting a figure she wouldn’t be able to afford herself

Where can I buy the collab cafe merch?

All of the merch will be sold exclusively during the collab cafe, and it’s very unlikely to be sold elsewhere. Officially that is. Your only chance to get them is going to the café yourself if you’re in Japan, having a friend going there for you, or waiting for fans to sell their duplicates at second-hand shops. Maybe miHoYo at some point after the collab ends will officially sell all the merch. But you shouldn’t bet on it.

Genshin Impact (PlayStation PC, Mobile) will launch its Version 2.1 on September 1, adding the Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi as playable characters.
