Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis DLC Will Have Unknown Legendary Composer

Square Enix made an interesting announcement about the upcoming Episode Ignis DLC that is scheduled to come for Final Fantasy XV.

Looks like Ignis’ side story is going to have music composed by another legendary Maestro.

This follows the trend of previous major DLC for the game, with Episode Gladiolus scored by Nier Automata‘s Keiichi Okabe, Episode Prompto carrying the signature of Final Fantasy XI‘s Naoshi Mizuta, and the upcoming Comrades multiplayer expansion scored by Nobuo Uematsu.

At the moment, no further hints have been dropped on the possible identity of the mysterious composer, so looks like we’ll have to wait for further info down the line, quite possibly at Paris Games Week.

Speaking of DLC, the Comrades expansion has been slightly delayed to early November. If you want to see more, you can enjoy some recent gameplay from Tokyo Game Show. A few weeks ago, we also learned that the main Final Fantasy XV game will keep receiving new content next year, past the original plan to end in 2017.

Episode Ignis is scheduled to come in December, and you can see its first teaser trailer.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, and will release for PC in early 2018. If you want to learn more, you should not forget to read our recent interview with Director Hajime Tabata.
