Fallout 76 Fasnacht Parade Event Bug Fixed, Free Bundles Next Week

Bethesda, Fallout 76, News, Originals, PC, Platforms, PS4, Xbox One

Fallout 76 seems to have bumped into a bit of a bump in the road as an in-game event started pushing out gameplay issues, however, Bethesda appears to have fixed up the issues and extended the event.

Known as the Fasnacht Parade, which saw its debut last year in March and has returned again this year. Players are given objectives to complete and tasked in guarding a parade of marchers. However, Bethesda announced on May 26 that reports were received regarding critters not spawning correctly during objectives. The result of this was that players were failing the Fasnacht Parade event.

Bethesda admits that the developers received similar reports on private test servers from playtesters, but when testing internally they were unable to reproduce the issue. “As a result, we believed this was an unrelated issue when we decided to move forward with the event.”

The event was postponed for all players, with the promise that when it goes back live the next day it would be extended. May 27 saw the fix applied for Fallout 76 and as promised, the event is now extended to June 9. As a way of saying sorry and “make it right”, Bethesda is also giving away from free bundles that will be available to claim from the in-game Atomic Shop from June 2.

For the time being, the event should be back up and running. The Fasnacht Parade was detailed to be coming back this year when Bethesda released the roadmap for Fallout 76. If you’re still looking into jumping on the game, it’s just had the Wastelanders update that introduces NPCs to the world, and in addition, the game can be purchased on Steam now.

Fallout 76 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
