It’s not an award at this year’s Game Awards show, but the winner of “most yee-haw” game has to go to Evil West, a new title from Flying Wild Hog and Focus Home Interactive.
Announced at The Game Awards with a rip-roarin’ cinematic trailer, Evil West apparently places players in the shoes of a desperado. Except, instead of robbing backs and fighting the law, he’s slaying the minions of hell. The character’s tools of the trade range from your usual cowboy weaponry, repeaters, revolvers and the like, to a supernatural super-powered gauntlet.
With this tool, the desperado cleaves through demons, crushes one’s skull with a branding iron and releases a massive electric blast to knock a crowd back. According to the game’s newly created Twitter page, Evil West will be relating in 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
Evil never sleeps… but it bleeds.
