Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer showcasing the cooperative update for Dynasty Warriors 9. Co-op was initially planned for the game at launch but was postponed due to some technical problems that needed fixing.

Players will be able to play local co-op with a friend, as well as online with players across the world. Additionally, players who own the trial version of Dynasty Warriors 9 will also be able to play co-op with those who own the full game. You can check out the new trailer down below.

It’s important to note that co-op in the trial version of Dynasty Warriors 9 will not be available until November 1 on PC via Steam, and November 7 for all console versions.

New details on the game’s second season pass were also revealed in the new trailer. 16 costumes, six weapons, four scenarios, and four scenario costumes will be added into the game. That new DLC will be available to purchase first for PS4 users on October 30, PC will get it on November 7, and a date for Xbox One has yet to be announced.

For those who don’t want to purchase the new DLC, there will be some updates along the way as new content is released. Online rankings, wallpapers, a growth system, accessories, music, and gems will be added into Dynasty Warriors 9 for free.

We reviewed Dynasty Warriors 9 back when it launched in February. The game is available right now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
