Dying Light 2 Co-Op and Multiplayer
Techland confirmed that Dying Light 2 would offer a 2-4 player Co-op gameplay. So, you could very well enjoy the game with your friends as soon as it arrives.
However, Dying Light 2’s Co-op feature will be different from 2015’s original game. That’s because, in the sequel, one out of four players in the multiplayer gameplay will be a host. So, you can host your own games and invite your friends; or you could join other players’ sessions.
We already know that a player’s action in Dying Light 2 will affect the story, but how will that work in multiplayer? Well, in multiplayer gameplay, only the host’s action will have consequences. Meaning, by joining your friends’ sessions, you would see how their choices have affected the game differently than yours.
In an interview with PCGamesN, Malgorzata Mitrega confirmed that players entering a game would still have progression. However, if your friend took a different path, you may not have access to all the weapons in your host’s game.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human Release Date
Techland confirmed that Dying Light 2 Stay Human would come out on December 7th, 2021.
Initially, the game was supposed to release in 2020; however, it was delayed indefinitely. But fortunately, we’ll finally get to play the game by the end of 2021.
