It has been almost a year since Dragon Age 4 was formally announced at The Game Awards 2018. Over that span of time, BioWare hasn’t revealed anything worthwhile about the highly-anticipated game in the franchise, but it seems like that could be changing next month.

Yesterday marked the 10th anniversary of Dragon Age: Origins, the first game in the beloved RPG series from BioWare. Many who are fans of the series celebrated throughout the day and BioWare also chimed in on the occasion and revealed that it has plans to further celebrate next month.

“Today marks 10 years of Dragon Age!” BioWare said on Twitter. “This year we’re excited to join the community’s party on December 4th and celebrate a decade together in the world we all love. See you on 12/4 for Dragon 4ge Day!”

While this tweet seems pretty straightforward on its own, it looks as though BioWare is teasing that it might have something to share regarding Dragon Age 4 next month. As you can see, at the end of the tweet, BioWare replaced the “A” in Dragon Age with the number “4”. While this could just be a cheeky way of referring to the upcoming game in the series, it does seem to be more than that and could be hinting at some potential information about the game being revealed.

That said, even if BioWare does have something to say about Dragon Age 4 next month, the game still seems quite far off. Electronic Arts, the publisher to which BioWare belongs to, recently said that it likely expects DA4 to launch by 2022 at the earliest. So while we might be getting some new information about the title next month, I’d keep my expectations in check.

Obviously, we’ll keep you up to date come next month if anything worthwhile regarding Dragon Age 4 ends up coming about.
