There is really no other fandom like Doki Doki Literature Club — following the release of the free-to-play “visual novel” experience in 2017, the game has amassed a huge following. On one hand this is partially due to the genre-bending novelty. But likely moreso because of the “Dokis” who have really resonated with some players. In a new cosplay series from Brazillian cosplayers that take Monika, Yuri, Sayori, and Natsuki out of the DDLC classroom and lounging at the pool.

The series has been trickling out over the past week, showing an ambitious crossover project between four established cosplayers. While it isn’t uncommon to see one-off artists do some amazing cosplay, it’s much more uncommon that we see every character of a game brought together and represented. If you haven’t tried out Doki Doki Literature Club yet, it’s best to go into the free-to-play experience totally blind. Let’s just say there are more than a few spoilers you will run into.

If you are a frequent reader of DualShockers, you may remember this game was subject to some early criticism thanks to some themes. Earlier this year, the community had larger concerns that art of the pink-haired smol Doki, Natsuki, would be leading to site-wide bans on Reddit as they de-platformed similar art and artists. Thankfully, the social media platform backtracked and clarified the policy, ringing in a small victory for the dedicated fans.

Doki Doki Literature Club is available now for free on PC. Meanwhile, go follow these cosplayers and check out other images from their Instagram profiles below:
