Sonic Mania is the latest game that is being given out for free on the Epic Games Store, and fans are eagerly waiting to try it out. Epic Games has been on a roll lately, giving away a plethora of games for quite a long time now. There is a new game up for grabs every week, and it will be yours to keep, forever.
After the disappointing giveaway of Among Us, Epic Games has picked up pace and given away a wide range of different games. For this week, we have two games, Horizon Chase Turbo and Sonic Mania being given away by the popular storefront.

Released back in 2017, Sonic Mania is a 2D platformer featuring Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. With a retro art style and some challenging gameplay, it is hands down one of the games platforming lovers should try out.

Does Sonic Mania Have Multiplayer and 2 Player Co-Op?
As players embark on an adventure in the amazing world of Sonic, many players might be wondering if they can actually play the game with their friends. Well, the answer to this question is a tad tricky.
First things first, there is no multiplayer as such in the game. That means there is no way in which players can take part in any PvP game modes, as there are none as such.
However, coop is indeed supported in the game. Coop is quite fun in this game, as one player controls Sonic while the other plays as Tails. This can make the gameplay experience much more exciting and lead to some amazing teamwork.
But, there is a catch here as well. Coop is only supported offline, so you will not be able to coop with your friends online. Some users use the PS4 Share Play feature to play it online, but it is restricted to that platform only and won’t work on PC.
