Twitter user Oskunk decided to show their love and passion for the upcoming Hideo Kojima title Death Stranding in one of the coolest ways possible. By crafting these awesome custom sneakers decorated with the trademark colors, logo, and symbolism from the title:

To make things even cooler, another impassioned fan — Leyton — also shared his own custom kick design, which showcases the main theme and motto of the game, “Tomorrow is in your hands:”

It would be great to see even more sneaker designs from other fans in the coming days, or any other creative endeavors. Death Stranding is due to launch for PS4 on November 8th and on PC in Summer 2020.

Death Stranding will be getting an absolutely stunning cover for Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu next week, penned by famed Metal Gear franchise artist Yoji Shinkawa.

Death Stranding had its launch trailer officially revealed a few days ago, and while Hideo Kojima headed around the world as part of the games World Tour, Norman Reedus detailed his experience on working with the founder of Kojima Productions in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

As for the launch trailer itself, Kojima claimed that he edited the trailer in a way to help allow people to understand the game better. Which after months of confusion surrounding the title’s weird story, is a breath of fresh air. The trailer gave us a cinematic look at the game, showing the infamous baby being carried out of a guarded building. Then we see Norman Reedus’s character, Sam, preparing for a journey. And while we get to see stunning landscapes and desolate areas, the majority of the trailer showed off exploration elements, action scenes, and cinematics.

Hideo Kojima also revealed that late night talk show host Conan O’Brien would be included in the upcoming release of Death Stranding in a cameo role, similar to one that The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley also has. This sparked God of War director Cory Barlog to openly ask on Twitter “who isn’t in this game?” with one of the impending replies being rather interesting.

Former Gears of War lead designer and head of Boss Key Productions, Cliff Bleszinski, responded in a tweet that Kojima asked him years ago to come get scanned into Death Stranding. At the time he declined due to his studio, Boss Key Productions, being shuttered back in 2018. Apparently now he kind of regrets his decision.
