During the official Xbox and Bethesda E3 Showcase, Innersloth announced a brand new update will be arriving for Among Us on June 15. The announcement took plenty of Among Us fans by surprise.
It’s been a while since fans were treated to a new Among Us content update. So, with the new update being right around the corner, here’s the expected release time for the upcoming Among Us update.

Among Us – June 15 Update
The upcoming Among Us update will be released on June 15th and will arrive on all available platforms.
From June 15, players will be able to play in 15 player lobbies with a total of 3 impostors. But that’s not all, the official Among Us Twitter account also announced there will be new colors, a new kill screen menu, mobile controller support, and even horn honking on the Airship map.
Innersloth also announced that Among Us would be coming to Xbox consoles later this year.

As well as the upcoming update, players can expect even more content from the Among Us developers later down the line.
Expected Release Time
Although Innersloth have yet to reveal the exact release time for the June 15 Among Us update, we do expect it to arrive around 11AM PT / 2PM ET / 7PM BST.
The aforementioned times were when the previous Airship map update was released, we expect the upcoming June 15 update to follow the same pattern.
However, more recent Among Us updates have arrived on Steam between 10AM and Midday PT.
As soon as an official release time is revealed for the June 15 Among Us update, we will update this article.
Among Us Roadmap
The upcoming Among Us update definitely caught fans off guard, as the developers of the game had already released their full roadmap for the game a day prior to the announcement.
In the Among Us roadmap, Innersloth detailed plans to include the following content at a later date:
- Account Linking
- Achievements
- Consoles
- Visor Cosmetics
- New Map
- Hide ‘n’ Seek Gamemode
- New Roles + Ways to Play
Unfortunately, an exact date was not revealed for when fans can expect this content to arrive, but it is something to look forward to!
