XDefiant Closed Beta Start Date, How to Register, Maps, and Factions

XDefiant Closed Beta release date has been set for later this week. Let’s have a look at all the beta details.

When it comes to free-to-play games, Ubisoft has not been successful in the past few years.

Currently, the publisher is supporting Trackmania, Roller Champions, and Hyper Scape as three major free-to-play titles inside the Ubisoft family, but none of them has been successful as the big F2P games out there such as Warzone, Fortnite, or Apex Legends.

However, it seems Ubisoft is still determined to have a popular free-to-play game in the market, and this time around, they want to do it with Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, a faction-based first-person shooter that seems to have gunplay so close to that of Call of Duty.

XDefiant Closed Beta Release Date and Time

The first Closed Beta session for XDefiant will go live on August 5, 2021. The beta will be available only on PC. The release time is yet to be known, but as soon as we receive the info on it, we will update this post.

How to Register for XDefiant Closed Beta

Although there are only two days left until the beginning of XDefiant Closed Beta, you can still sign up for the session.

Just head over to the game’s official page, choose your favorite platform, and register for a chance to be a part of the beta players. But, remember that the upcoming beta is only for PC. So, register for PC if you want to be considered for the first beta as well.

Since Ubisoft has not revealed an end date for the beta, they might extend it and add more players if enough players register for the session. Keep in mind that this Closed Beta is only for the US and Canada on PC.

Maps and Factions in Closed Beta

The game will have five maps available in the Closed Beta. The number of factions available in the beta has not been specified, but it would probably feature all four factions. Below, are the closed beta map:

  • Domination
  • Ringleader
  • Upload
  • Escort
  • Zone Control

Tom Clancy’s XDefiant is a free-to-play first-person shooter that doesn’t have a scheduled release date yet. This is the first closed beta session for the game, and Ubisoft has already announced that there will be more beta experiences in the near future.
