Apex Legends: Emergence

So, aside from a brand new Legend, what can players expect from the latest Season of Apex Legends, Emergence?

The upcoming Season will kick off on Tuesday, August 3rd around the world. Fans can expect a hefty map update to World’s Edge, as the developers have stated that their idea for World’s Edge was to retain the design philosophy of the map whilst improving things with fun, fresh new gameplay spaces. Details on all of the specific changes being made to World’s Edge can be found on the Apex Legends website.

Next up in Emergence will be the arrival of a brand new weapon, the Rampage LMG. This will be Apex Legends’ first new LMG weapon since the title launched. The Rampage will use heavy ammo and has a minimal amount of recoil. Although it is one of the slowest firing weapons in the game, players who hit their shots on target will be rewarded for their accuracy with heavy damage. Check out the official breakdown of the Rampage LMG in the tweet below.

Finally, Season 10 will introduce a brand new Ranked Arenas mode. Get ready to prove yourself as one of the best Apex players around as the new competitive mode will arrive on August 3rd. More details can be found on Ranked Arenas at the Apex Legends website.

All Weapon Changes Coming In Apex Legends Season 10

With the official patch notes for Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence finally here, we know exactly what the weapon nerfs and buffs are going to look like when the new season kicks off.

To start, the L-Star EMG will not take Energy Magazines for ammunition. This allows the energy weapon to fire more shots before it overheats whilst also allowing it to cool off even quicker.

The L-Star also now takes Barrels for recoil reduction and has had the Projectile VFX scale reduced by roughly half. It has also had its first-person on-hit impact effect intensity reduced, as well as hip fire spread increased.

Next up is the Light Machine Gun category, where every LMG has had the headshot multiplier reduced from 2.0 to 1.75. LMG’s have also had the limbshot multiplier increased from 0.75 to 0.85.

As for Pistols, they have all had their handling time reduced by ~10%. This applies to the raise, holster, and zoom in/out time.

The Prowler Burst PDW has had the time between bursts increased from 0.2 to 0.24. Whilst the M600 Spitfire has had its damage increased from 18 to 19, hip fire spread reverted back to Season 8 pre-nerf values, and the purple mag size increased from 50 to 55.

The last bunch of weapons to receive changes is the Alternator, 30-30 Repeater and the EVA-8. The Alternator has reintroduced the Disruptor Rounds which come equipped on a Supply Drop Alternator. The Disruptor Rounds have also had their shield damage increased by 40%.No immense changes were made to the 30-30 Repeater but it has had its reload speed from stocks increased. And finally, the EVA-8 has had a significantly reduced bolt fire-rate scaling for each rarity tier.

Fans can check out the full patch notes for the full details on all of the Season 10 changes.

Season 10: Emergence will be available worldwide on August 3rd.
