Now in its fifth year, The Elder Scrolls Online continues to chug right along with the game’s latest expansion, Elsweyr, slated to release soon. While Elsweyr will introduce quite a bit of new content for The Elder Scrolls Online players, one of the biggest additions is that of a new character class.
The Necromancer is the latest, and probably creepiest, class that you’ll be able to utilize once Elsweyr releases. With the power of the undead at your disposal, you’ll be able to do battle against your enemies by summoning a variety of different allies to do your bidding.
Here’s an official description of what you can expect from the Necromancer class:
The souls and corpses of the fallen are yours to command with the Necromancer, an all-new class coming with The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr. Raise relentless undead, encase yourself in impenetrable bone, and weave severed flesh back together with the power of Tamriel’s dark arts. With the Necromancer, death itself is a weapon, and you are its master.
In addition to describing what you can do as a Necromancer, Bethesda also released a new video today to show off a bit more of the class. The video shows off a handful of the many undead that you can summon to fight for you in addition to highlighting more of the game’s new region.
