Anuman Interactive and Microïds announced today that they would be releasing their puzzle adventure game Syberia 2 on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, November 30. To celebrate its impending launch, a trailer for the game was released, showcasing both cinematic cutscenes and gameplay in handheld mode.

The release of Syberia 2 on Nintendo Switch comes just over a month after the first game in the series came to the platform. Syberia 3, which released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One back in April, is also slated to come to the Switch, though no release date has been revealed as of yet. These ports have likely been released to fill up the time until Syberia 3’s release on the console/handheld hybrid, while also introduces a whole new group of players to the series.

As with most Switch games, Syberia 2 is playable in handheld mode and can be experienced with a variety of different controls on the system. This port of the game was developed with the help of Koalabs Studio, and will release both digitally and physically in Europe; unfortunately, North America will only receive the digital version.

For those of you who don’t know, Syberia 2 first released on PC, Xbox, and PS2 back in 2004. It follows the story of Kate Walker, who is on a journey with her friend Hans Voralberg and an automaton named Oscar to find a lost world that is supposedly home to the last mammoths of Siberia. Since its release, Syberia 2 has achieved cult game status and made its way to iOS, Android, PS3, and Xbox 360.

You can check out some screenshots of the game and the launch trailer below. Syberia 2 is currently available on PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android, and will be available on the Nintendo Switch on November 30.
