NIS America announced that the life-sim creation game, Happy Birthdays, will launch for Nintendo Switch on June 5 in North America and June 8 in Europe.

Being an updated version of 2017’s Birthdays the Beginning, Happy Birthdays bring the life-sim to Nintendo Switch. The updates include the ability to start the game from three premade environments or from scratch and an all-new skill system where players collect “stars” to interact with the world.

Additional changes include UI improvements and other features including all of the previous DLC for Birthdays the Beginning included on the cartridge.

Happy Birthdays is a life-sim sandbox game from the mind of Harvest Moon creator, Yasuhiro Wada. Players are given the ability to alter the landscape of various sized cubes to create life and make drastic changes to an ecosystem. Over time, players will reach milestones and progress the story in a mysterious world.

Additional features include using items to change the temperature of areas and also discover new species by meeting their living conditions. However, it’s also possible to make an unlivable wasteland if the player chooses to.
