If you live in California, start clearing your schedule. A new post on the official Nintendo of America Twitter account teases that “something exciting” will happen tomorrow morning in Los Angeles. Included with the post are pictures of two trucks, each featuring images and the respective color pallets of Pikachu and Eevee. The tweet goes on to state “Whether you’re #TeamPikachu or #TeamEevee, you won’t want to miss this,” and ends with the hashtag “#PokemonLetsGo.”

A cursory examination of the trucks point to two possibilities– either Nintendo is opening up a pop-up shop with some Pokemon goodies, or these trucks will be mobile play stations where folks can try out Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee respectively. The latter seems entirely more likely considering that just this past summer Nintendo and GameTruck teamed up to bring Nintendo Switch kiosks to Walmart parking lots.

That being said, anything is possible and I wouldn’t be too surprised if Nintendo had something off-kilter up its sleeve. Hopefully Eevee will know not to take the 405 during rush hour. Now that I’m thinking about it, Pikachu really does seem like the kind of guy to wait in line for an hour at In-N-Out Burger.

Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee will be available for the Nintendo Switch on November 16th. You can pre-order the respective games here and here.
