The goal of Limited Run Games to provide physical copies for independent games is a noble one, but as the name reminds us, these game copies really are limited. If you’re someone who missed out on any of their Switch offerings, you may soon get your chance through a blind box that Limited Run is offering quite soon.

Available early next week, the Nintendo Switch Blind Box will be available for purchase, containing one random game of several from Limited Run’s previous offerings. Those include Flinthook, Mercenary Kings, Slime-San, Saturday Morning RPG, Night Trap, Kingdom, and Thumper, all “common” games with an 86% chance of being in your box.

Meanwhile, Thimbleweed Park and Oceanhorn, the “uncommon” loot, will have a ten percent chance of showing up. The “rare” loot, with a four percent probability, is comprised of Yooka-Laylee and Furi. All boxes have a gatefold design and will also contain a random trading card.

With these blind boxes so limited, customers can only purchase up to five of them. The team at Limited Run Games have assured customers on the product page that they have put in the effort to try to prevent any duplicate games from multiple purchases, but they do not guarantee that it won’t happen for sure. Don’t get too greedy, people.

If you missed any of the aforementioned games, and enjoy the novelty of having the physical game on your shelf as part of your collection, this could very well be an opportunity to nab one of them. Just cross your fingers and hope that you get the one you want. Recently, Celeste and Iconoclasts are titles that will get their own physical release.

The Nintendo Switch Blind Box will be available starting Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
