Developer aheartfulofgames is bringing its roguelike-3D-brawler Heart & Slash to the Nintendo Switch. A release, the developer states, is coming in December.

The game has already been released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and this version will be bringing the same content including 71 missions to be played with 6 different characters versus 93 different enemies with 135 pieces of equipment. The maps, items, and enemies are randomly generated which leads to different gameplay experiences time in and time out.

Heart&Slash follows the story of a robot who is struggling to stand out in a world of assimilating “standardization henchmen.”  You, and your…bloodline (?) attempt to impress a long-standing veteran of this robotic society Slash, and your choices can result in different endings for the game’s story.

The Switch has become the mecca for independent game developers, as more and more are making their way to the switch. Yooka-Laylee, for instance, recently received a release date of December 14. While the game was previously available on other consoles, it too may nestle itself into Nintendo history. Also of note on the Switch for December is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which will be available on the Switch on December 1. You can check out our preview of that game here.

Heart&Slash doesn’t have a specific release date, but it will be launching on the Nintendo Switch sometime in December.
