This summer for video game events has definitely looked a little different compared to years past. With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to add uncertainty and cancelling major events like E3 and Gamescom, this year numerous video game studios and publishers have turned to digital events for their major announcements and reveals. Among them is the Guerrilla Collective, which is collecting various developers and publishers together for several days of big announcements, presentations, and more next month.

The Guerrilla Collective has announced that 14 new studios and publishers have joined the event showcase, which is scheduled to run from June 6-8, 2020. The new participants include several indie studios such as Kitfox Games (Boyfriend Dungeon), MidBoss (2064: Read Only Memories), New Blood Interactive (Dusk), and Sega of America. You can check out the full list below of the new additions to the event showcase:

  • Batterystaple Games
  • Beyond Fun Studio
  • Interabang Entertainment
  • Kitfox Games
  • MidBoss
  • New Blood Interactive
  • Nightdive Studios
  • Ninja Garage
  • Nito Souji
  • Sam Eng
  • Sega of America
  • Serenity Forge
  • Team Coreupt
  • The Molasses Flood

From its original announcement, the Guerrilla Collective already had several studios lined up to participate in the event, such as Larian Studios (Divinity: Original Sin 2), 11 bit studios (This War of Mine), Coffee Stain Studios (Goat Simulator), and many more. While the event is focused primarily around indie games and studios, so far it seems that the Guerrilla Collective has gathered and eclectic group of well-known developers for some exciting new announcements, gameplay demos, and more.

This summer already has been pretty packed when it comes to reveal events and livestreams. In the place of E3, we have several events such as Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest that is running now through August, the Steam Game Festival, and many others. Several other game and publisher-specific events have also been announced, such as dedicated livestreams for anticipated titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel’s Avengers. Sony has also just announced today that its PS5 reveal event will officially take place next Thursday, June 4.

The Guerrilla Collective event showcase will be airing from June 6-8, 2020 – for a closer look at what to expect, you can check out their official website here.
