Well, we certainly haven’t gotten one of these in a while; I had almost thought that Treyarch had forgotten. After the first episode of the series hit YouTube back in December, the developer has finally released episode 2 of their Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 online series DECLASSIFIED, which is centered entirely around the ballistics of the game, but mostly in Blackout.
The video itself goes into great detail about the math and logic Treyarch uses to determine where an in-game bullet is supposed to hit and how it travels, depending on what weapon the player is using. It’s a bit of a technical discussion, but it’s fascinating none the less. If that sounds like something that would interest you, you can check out the video at the end of the article.
For those that don’t know or may have forgotten, DECLASSIFIED is a series of online videos that Treyarch is releasing to give insight into the Black Ops series. The first episode was centered entirely on the famous map Nuketown.
