2K and Gearbox announced a Borderlands V.I.P program called the Vault Insider Program. In it, you can earn points doing a variety of different activities. Those activities can include watching videos, redeeming codes, reading articles, and more. You can then redeem these points to receive rewards. Golden Loot Chest keys and computer wallpapers are current rewards options. However, there will be rewards that you can redeem for in-game content for Borderlands 3 in the future.
To sign up for the program, you must have a SHiFT account. You can sign up for the Vault Insider Program through your PlayStation, Xbox or Steam account. There is currently no option to link with the Epic Games Store, but with Borderlands 3 having a six-month exclusivity for Borderlands 3 deal it is possible that it will be an option by the time of the game’s release in September. The Epic Games Store is new, but a lot can change by the time the game comes out. Linking your social media and gaming accounts with your Program account will also earn you points.
According to the Official Borderlands website if you sign up for the Vault Insider Program you will earn a Borderlands 3 Welcome Pack. In the pack, you will receive a high-rarity grenade and shield mods as well as a VIP weapon trinket. Until Borderlands 3 comes out gamers have the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection to play.
You can sign up for the Vault Insider Program here. Borderlands 3 releases on September 13 later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the Epic Games Store.
