In the two years since the Nintendo Switch launched, more and more developers and publishers have been jumping on the bandwagon, especially when it comes to indie games on the eShop. Today, ARTE announced its plans to bring three games to Switch on April 25. The three games in question are Homo Machina, Vandals, and Type: Rider.
Homo Machina is a mobile game developed by Darjeeling that released for mobile platforms last year. It sees players directing workers within the human boy in order to make sure it functions properly. Everything within the game is styled after Fritz Khan’s work, and was ultimately made to pay tribute to him. You can check out some GIFS of the game in action on Nintendo Switch below.
The next two titles were both developed by French studio Cosmografik. The first game in question in Vandals, a turn-based puzzle game reminiscent of titles like Lara Croft GO that initially released last year. Vandals puts a unique spin on things with its focus on street art; in fact, the game tells the story of 40 street artists from around the world. The Nintendo Switch version of Vandals also lets players paint by using the Joy-Cons. Below, you can look at some screenshots of the game.
Cosmografik’s other Switch game published by ARTE is Type: Rider. It initially released in 2013, making it the oldest of the three games coming to Switch in April. Players control two dots and venture through a variety of levels that all teach typography from throughout time. You can see some Nintendo Switch screenshots of Type: Rider below:
