For a limited time, you’ll be able to grab a free Super Mario Odyssey statue in Nintendo’s mobile title, Super Mario Run. The statue features Mario in his white suit and top hat from Bower’s wedding towards the end of Super Mario Odyssey.
Nintendo announced the crossover event via their official Twitter. You’ll be able to place the in-game gift anywhere in your personalized Mushroom Kingdom. If you’re not familiar with Super Mario Run. It basically blends mobile’s popular endless running genre mechanics with the world of Mario.
The game was one of Nintendo’s first attempts at entering the mobile market and surprisingly, the game did not meet the company’s expectations. There was a free-to-play version that gave you access to some early content, the rest could be unlocked for $10. Back in September, Nintendo released a big update for Super Mario Run that added a slew of new content, including Daisy as a playable character.
In other Nintendo mobile news, the company just announced its latest game coming to phones, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. The title will feature all of the things fans have come to love in the Animal Crossing series. It’ll be available sometime later this month, no specific date has been given.
You’ll have until November 11 to grab your statue. Super Mario Run is available now on iOS and Android devices.
