Xbox Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving. Last week four new ID@Xbox games were added and as of this morning, four more have been confirmed to be hitting the service. Teasing SoulCalibur through a tweet yesterday, Microsoft confirmed that, plus three more games in a blog post this morning. The four new games are as follows:

  • Out of the Park Baseball 21 (PC) – July 1
  • Soulcalibur VI (Console) – July 1
  • CrossCode (Console) – July 9
  • Fallout 76 (Console and PC) – July 9

First up, and on the PC version of Xbox Game Pass, is Out of the Park Baseball 21. The game is a text-based baseball management sim/strategy game in which you “Discover new talent, draft the next superstar, negotiate with free agents, enter trade talks with other teams, build your dynasty and guide a franchise into an infinite future!” using licensed MLB teams of the past and present.

SoulCalibur VI is the second game hitting the service today. The sixth entry in one of the most beloved fighting-game franchises, SoulCalibur VI has fantastic single-player campaigns, solid multiplayer action, a huge create a character mode, and a cameo from The Witcher’s Geralt. We loved the game so much we gave it a 9.5 in our review, so it’s definitely worth checking out whether you’re a fighting game fan or not.

CrossCode, which drops Thursday, July 9, was released on PC in 2018 but will be hitting Xbox Game Pass on the same date with its console launch. CrossCode is a retro, Action-RPG “in the veins of Secret of Mana and Zelda,” with massive dungeons and over 120 enemy types and 30 boss fights.

Finally, dropping the same day as CrossCode is Fallout 76, a game which is no stranger to controversy. Released to a lukewarm reception towards the end of 2018, Bethesda made misstep after misstep with dodgy collectors editions, poor server performance, and some questionable in-game purchase pricing to name but a few. However, after listening to their audience, Fallout 76 seems to be on the up as the Bethesda have slowly started to rectify these issues, namely by adding NPCs in the Wastelanders DLC. With it being included in Xbox Game Pass, now may be the time to dip your toes into the irradiated waters of Appalachia and see what it’s all about.

One of the best services in gaming is once again amplified by some more decent additions and it was recently shown that Xbox Game Pass doesn’t only benefit the fans, but developers as well. Don’t forget, July’s Games With Gold are also now live so grab them while you can.
