On the back of announcing a new partnership with publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment, San Francisco-based developer Dim Bulb Games has released a new story trailer for Where the Water Tastes Like Wine.

For those that don’t know: Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a game where you travel around the United States, sharing stories, and surviving manifest destiny through a century of history — meeting a variety of people, each with their own stories to tell and for you to listen to.

More specifically, players will come across 16 different personalities, each which will be handled by a different writer, thus feeling completely fresh from one another. Some of these writers include Emily Short, Jolie Menzel the narrative designer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Austin Walker of Waypoint, and many more.

According to Dim Bulb Games, the game is inspired by folk tales and folk music of America. Further, it will notably serve as the debut project for the studio.

Where the Water Tastes like Wine is poised to release for PC and Mac sometime in 2017. Other platforms are currently up in the air, and still labeled as “TBA”.

Below, you can check out the new, aforementioned story trailer, which also serves as a first-time showcase of the game’s voice acting:
