It looks like the release date for the Warzone Nuke Event has all but been confirmed by Activision. Content creators have begun receiving special packages with a mysterious message attached.

When Is The Warzone Nuke Event?
If the teaser received by content creators from Activision is any indication, it looks like the Nuke Event could be happening on April 21, 2021.
This would line up perfectly with the end of Season 2 of Cold War and Warzone, and the beginning of Season 3.
Season 2 began on February 25 and is currently set to end on April 22. All signs point towards the release date of the Warzone Nuke Event being on April 21, could this be Activision’s way of starting Season 3 with a bang?
New Warzone Map
So what will actually happen in the heavily teased Nuke Event?
Well, with the Zombies invading Verdansk at the beginning of Season 2, it looks like the spread of the undead has become too much to handle. The event will likely see players taking on the Zombies in a last-ditch effort to save Verdansk.
Audio files were previously leaked from the upcoming event, pointing towards players having to compete in one final battle for Verdansk.
Since then, the teasers have been ramping up in Warzone. There’s currently missiles soaring through the skies of Verdansk, and even a new Bombardment Streak that could be a sign of things to come.
If players fail to save Verdansk, what happens next? Well, it looks like we could be getting either an 80s themed Verdansk or something completely new.

Cold War & Warzone Season 2 Reloaded
Season 2 of Cold War and Warzone began on February 25, but Activision wasn’t going to stop there. On March 30, one month after the launch of Season 2, Activision was back with a bang.
The big mid-season update brought with it brand new weapons, new multiplayer maps, and a gunfight tournament.
