Warframe is Launching for Nintendo Switch in November

With a player count that has now surpassed over 38 million players worldwide, Warframe has rightfully claimed its title as one of the world’s most popular free-to-play games across consoles and PC, and now Switch owners can look forward to hopping into the game in just a few months.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, the Nintendo Switch version of Warframe was confirmed to be launching on November 20th, 2018, which will bring the free-to-play game to a new audience of players, and also will be the game’s very first portable iteration.

Warframe‘s Switch version marks the most recent iteration of the game since its debut back in 2013 from developer and publisher Digital Extremes, and while the game garnered a mixed reception at its launch, in the years since it has amassed a massive and loyal player base thanks to its continued updates and expansions.

The Switch version of the game is being developed by Panic Button, which previously brought games such as DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus over to the system in the past year.
