Valorant’s First Ultra Edition Weapon Skins are Modeled After Dragons and They Look Dang Cool

Valorant has only officially been out for about a month now, and so far, Riot Games hasn’t been prominently releasing too many weapons skins for the game just yet. But later this week, that’s about to change.

Starting on Friday, July 10, Riot has revealed that the first “Ultra Edition Skins” for Valorant will be appearing in the in-game store and they look pretty freaking cool. The first wave of these Ultra skins are titled Elderflame, and they make each of your weapons in the game look like dragons. Riot released a brief trailer showing the guns off in action and hot dang, I gotta say that these are pretty nifty looking.

The only problem, as you can imagine, is that these Elderflame skins are going to set you back a pretty penny. Just how much will they be, you might ask? Well, as of this moment, we don’t know. Riot hasn’t revealed how many Riot Points (the currency used in both Valorant and League of Legends) this set will cost, but based on current prices in the shop, they won’t be cheap.

Currently, Valorant boasts skins that range anywhere from around $10 all the way up to skin bundles that will set you back closer to $50. Considering these Elderflame skins are the most prominent ones to join Valorant yet, it stands to reason that they’re going to be very pricey.

While these skins will surely cost a pretty penny, Valorant is at the very least free-to-play on PC right now. Riot has said already that it is prototyping the game for consoles, but we have yet to hear an official announcement regarding other platforms.

And if you’d like to get a better look at the Elderflame weapons, you can peep the trailer down below.
