Valkyria Chronicles 4 Shines in 17 Minutes of PS4 Gameplay

News, Originals, PS4, Sega, Switch, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Xbox One

Following a preview event dedicated to Valkyria Chronicles 4 hosted today in Tokyo by Sega, IGN Japan posted a video with plenty of gameplay.

The video showcases a mission to assault an Imperial fortress close to the beginning of the game. It’s the same that was mentioned in the latest story reveal, as Riley joins Squad E. Of course, we see lots of grenadier action.

The new CANVAS rendering engine certainly looks lovely, and it appears to be slightly more colorful than what I remember from the original Valkyria Chronicles. I definitely like it.

This mission probably also appears in the demo that will launch on Monday on the Japanese PlayStation Store, since the first two chapters are included.
