During Ubisoft’s quarterly financial conference call for investors and analysts, President and Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot commented on upcoming announcements of new Nintendo Switch games.

Guillemot teased that other games for Nintendo Switch on top of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will be announced “quite soon,” but encouraged to “wait a little bit” for more information.

Earlier in the call, Chief Financial Officer Alain Martinez spoke positively of the reaction to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle at E3 2017. He defined it as one of the company’s “biggest surprises and attractions” at the show, with the creation of a “giant burst of excitement and high expectations.” According to Martinez, the game is set for a successful launch.

Interestingly, later in the call, he also explained that the publisher doesn’t really call Mario + Rabbids “a triple-A game exactly.”

The game also won our Best Strategy Game award at the trade show in Los Angeles. It will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on August 29th.
