A few weeks back when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Operation Spectre Rising was originally announced and detailed, it was revealed that Call of Duty’s annual tradition, Days of Summer, would be making its way into the game sometime in June. Now, Treyarch has begun teasing the release of the event and just like always, it seems to involve some traditional summer activities, at least in some way, shape, or form.

The tease comes from the developers official Twitter account. Just like most teases, the short video doesn’t show off any specific details about any new items, game modes, or maps. It does, however, show a funny cinematic of Firebreak grilling some burgers in Blackout and a bunch of characters relaxing in some water on inner tubes. While I can’t be sure, the part of Firebreak grilling could be a new emote, while the characters in inner tubes could be teasing a new section to the Blackout map. That being said, that’s all speculation.

If the tease got you excited about Days of Summer, then you won’t have to sit in excitement for long, as the tease also confirmed that the new update will be arriving on June 4, 2019, at least on PS4. Xbox One and PC players should be getting the new update on June 11, 2019.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon before Days of Summer starts, you can do so by clicking here.
